Establishes the Public Schools STEM and Robotics Program Task Force to study existing STEM and robotics programs in Maryland and other states and assess feasibility of implementing competitive programs statewide

Task Force membership includes 2 senators, 2 delegates, State Superintendent of Schools, Secretaries of Labor and Commerce, 3 local school system representatives, and 3 nonprofit STEM/robotics organization representatives

Task Force must collect program descriptions, administration requirements, funding amounts and sources, and revenue/expenditure impacts for existing programs

Task Force must recommend approaches for establishing competitive robotics programs as varsity sports in every public high school in Maryland

Report due to legislative committees by December 15, 2026; Act takes effect July 1, 2026 and automatically expires June 30, 2027
