Employees and members of the Maine Association for the Education of Young Children would become eligible to participate in Maine's state group health insurance plan

Adds a new paragraph (N) to the existing statute (5 MRSA §285) that lists entities whose employees may access state health coverage

Eligibility would also extend to any successor organization if the Maine Association for the Education of Young Children changes its organizational structure

Expands existing law that already allows state health plan access to groups including tuition academy employees and retired municipal law enforcement officers and firefighters
