Beginning January 1, 2027, prohibits the sale of seven additional appliance categories manufactured on or after that date that fail to meet energy/water standards set by department rules: commercial battery chargers, commercial dishwashers, commercial food steamers, commercial fryers, commercial ovens, computer server power supplies, and residential ventilating fans

Violations constitute a civil violation with a maximum fine of $100 per offense

Exemptions apply to appliances manufactured before the applicable effective dates, used appliances sold in any condition, and products where federal regulation preempts state authority

Department of Environmental Protection authorized to adopt major substantive rules establishing the specific efficiency standards for prohibited products

Became law without the Governor's signature on June 8, 2025 as Public Law Chapter 184
