Amends Maine law (24-A MRSA §4320-A) governing cost-sharing parity requirements for primary care and behavioral health office visits under group health plans

Adds a new exemption for health plans that have no deductible, no coinsurance, and out-of-pocket limits meeting applicable federal requirements

Existing law already requires group health plans (effective January 1, 2023 or later) to cover the first primary care and first behavioral health office visit each plan year without cost sharing

Behavioral health visit copayments after the first visit cannot exceed the copayment amount for primary care visits

Signed into law by the Governor on June 9, 2025, becoming Public Law Chapter 213
