Establishes the Maine Green Schools Network within the Department of Education to support environmental education and sustainability initiatives in public schools serving prekindergarten through grade 12

Defines "green schools" as public schools demonstrating progress in reducing carbon emissions from buildings and transportation, promoting environmental literacy, developing career pathways in climate-ready fields, and building youth leadership

Requires the network to assist with student transportation to environmental activities, support projects incorporating traditional ecological knowledge (waste management, energy/water conservation, outdoor classrooms), and provide professional development for educators

Authorizes the department to develop a grant program to fund green school initiatives, with ability to receive support from environmental nonprofit organizations

Mandates a report to the Legislature by November 4, 2026 detailing participating schools, schools supported, and county participation rates
