Amends Maine election law (21-A MRSA §682) to clarify restrictions on candidates and their representatives within 250 feet of polling place entrances and inside voting places

Candidates or one representative may greet voters near polling places but cannot display the candidate's name, the office being sought, or express support/opposition to any party, candidate, or ballot question

Prohibits candidates and their representatives from collecting petition signatures, soliciting campaign contributions, or gathering Maine Clean Election Act qualifying contributions within the 250-foot zone

Expands the definition of "candidate" to include write-in candidates, candidates of any party designation, and unenrolled candidates

Enacted as emergency legislation, effective immediately upon Governor's approval on June 17, 2025, to apply to June municipal elections
