Prohibits health insurance carriers and utilization review organizations from requiring step therapy protocols before covering FDA-approved prescription drugs for the treatment of metastatic cancer and associated conditions

Defines "metastatic cancer" as cancer that has spread from the primary site to nearby tissues, lymph nodes, or other body parts

Defines "associated conditions" as symptoms or side effects of metastatic cancer or its treatment that could jeopardize patient health if untreated

Applies to health plans issued or renewed on or after January 1, 2026

Appropriates $7,176 from the General Fund and $2,496 from the Highway Fund for fiscal year 2026-27 for implementation
