Parents would be entitled to access all information regarding their minor child's school activities, including teaching materials, instructional materials for virtual/remote learning, and information about mental, emotional, and physical health care services available at the school

Parents must receive well-being questionnaires or health screening forms before they are administered to their child, and may access their child's health care and educational records notwithstanding existing confidentiality provisions in Title 22, section 1908

Parents may refuse their child's participation in non-educational or core assignments, activities, or services and request alternative assignments or materials

School administrative units are prohibited from adopting procedures or student support forms that prevent personnel from notifying parents about a student's mental, emotional, or physical health, or that encourage students to withhold such information from parents

Exception allows schools to withhold information from a parent if a reasonably prudent person would believe disclosure would result in child abuse, neglect, or abandonment as defined in state law
