Amends 3 MRSA §994 to create a new subsection 11-A establishing rules for documents obtained through subpoenas issued by the Government Oversight Committee

Papers or records received by the Government Oversight Committee in response to a subpoena are designated as confidential and exempt from public disclosure

Overrides any other provisions of law that might otherwise require disclosure of subpoenaed documents

Maintains existing requirements that other information available to the committee remains governed by legislative investigating committee rules and public records laws
