Adds certain Department of Health and Human Services employees to Maine's 1998 Special Plan for Retirement under the Maine Public Employees Retirement System

Covers workers employed as of October 1, 2025 who provide crisis outreach and crisis services to adults with developmental or intellectual disabilities in community-based or residential settings

Eligible employees must have the job classification of Community Response Worker as of July 1, 2021, and must have previously held the Mental Health Worker III classification before July 1, 2021

Requires covered employees to contribute 8.65% of earnable compensation until completing 25 years of creditable service, then 7.65% thereafter

Allows eligible members to qualify for service retirement benefits at age 55 with 10 years of creditable service, or after completing 25 years of creditable service regardless of age
