Information sharing about citizenship or immigration status with federal authorities under 8 U.S.C. Sections 1373 and 1644 is explicitly not restricted

Attorney General must publish model policies and guidance for covered facilities by January 1, 2027, with facilities required to adopt equivalent policies within 6 months
