Emergency legislation from the 132nd Maine Legislature (Second Regular Session 2026) to correct technical inconsistencies, conflicts, and errors across Maine Revised Statutes resulting from acts of current and previous legislatures

Contains 57 sections making corrections including: fixing cross-references to repealed or renumbered statutes, resolving conflicts where multiple 2025 public laws amended the same provisions differently, and correcting grammatical and clerical errors

Resolves specific conflicts between Public Law 2025 chapters 219/344, chapters 385/388, chapters 388/393, and chapters 367/388 by repealing conflicting provisions and enacting unified versions

Updates references throughout multiple titles including corrections to Uniform Commercial Code article citations (changing "Article 1" to "Article 1-A"), terminology updates replacing "physician assistant" with "physician associate," and cross-reference corrections in planning and land use statutes
