Expands eligibility for school health advisors to include chiropractic doctors licensed under Title 32, chapter 9, in addition to physicians and family or pediatric nurse practitioners

School boards may appoint one or more qualified professionals from the expanded list to serve as school health advisors

School health advisors remain prohibited from treating students examined under this subchapter unless they are also the student's personal health care provider

Chiropractic doctors serving as school health advisors must operate within their scope of practice as established by law or rule of the applicable licensing board

Amends 20-A MRSA §6402-A, which was previously amended in 2013 (PL 2013, c. 78, §1)
