Prohibits municipalities, county commissioners, or abutters from gating, barring, or otherwise obstructing town ways that have been discontinued by abandonment but retained a public easement for at least 15 years

Allows municipalities, county commissioners, or abutters to remove gates, bars, or other obstructions from abandoned town ways where a public easement has been retained for less than 15 years, with written permission from municipal officers or county commissioners

Amends 23 MRSA §3028-A, sub-§11, which was enacted in 2021 (PL 2021, c. 145)
