Requires Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) history to be integrated into Maine's required instruction on American history and Maine studies, with curriculum amendments taking effect July 1, 2029

Department of Education must convene a volunteer advisory group within 30 days of enactment, including scholars, civil rights representatives, cultural organizations, and the State Archivist to develop teaching materials

Department must develop guidance, best practices, and exemplar curriculum modules to help schools integrate AANHPI history, covering topics such as civil rights contributions from the 19th century to present, individual achievements in government and the arts, and community contributions to U.S. development

Local school districts must be provided a process to conduct internal curriculum audits ensuring equitable representation of AANHPI voices and accurate historical accounts

Department must submit an implementation progress report to the Joint Standing Committee on Education and Cultural Affairs by April 1, 2030
