Establishes licensure requirements for hearing aid salespersons including being at least 18 years old, of good moral character, high school graduate, completing required training and education, passing a written examination, and serving at least 6 months as a trainee.

Allows the department to issue trainee licenses valid for 12 months and renewable upon application, permitting individuals to work under the direction and supervision of a licensed hearing aid dealer.

Removes references to "the board" throughout the statute and requires demonstration of continuing professional competency as a condition for renewal of hearing aid dealer and salesperson licenses.
