Amends Michigan Penal Code sections 159g and 411j to update references from the 1964 Uniform Securities Act to the 2008 Uniform Securities Act (2002).

Adds violations of section 508 of the 2008 Uniform Securities Act (MCL 451.2508) concerning securities fraud to the definition of "racketeering" under section 159g.

Includes violations of section 508 of the 2008 Uniform Securities Act in the definition of "specified criminal offense" under section 411j for money laundering purposes.

Maintains existing references to section 409 of the 1964 Uniform Securities Act alongside the new 2008 Act references to ensure continued coverage of both statutes.

Became effective immediately upon Governor's approval on August 31, 2009.
