Amends section 6101 of the Food Law of 2000 (2000 PA 92) to modify food code provisions incorporated by reference.

Strikes subparagraph 3-501.16(A)(2)(b) from the incorporated food code provisions.

Permits food service establishments serving food outdoors to allow leashed dogs accompanying customers in the outdoor dining and food service area.

Authorizes the director to adopt changes or updates to the food code through rule promulgation.

Designates the annexes of the food code as persuasive authority for interpreting food code requirements.
