Amends Michigan election law section 644e to establish candidate filing and certification deadlines for odd-year general elections.

Sets the candidate filing or certification deadline at 4 p.m. on the twelfth Tuesday before the odd-year general election for municipalities with nomination by caucus, petition, or affidavit processes.

Sets the candidate filing or certification deadline at 4 p.m. on the twelfth Tuesday before the primary election for municipalities that elect candidates at the primary when receiving more than 50% of votes cast.

Removes previous language requiring consistency with section 382 and restrictions on charter provisions for primary election candidates with majority vote requirements.
