Allows public servants of cities, villages, townships, or counties with populations under 25,000 to serve as emergency medical services personnel without conflict of interest restrictions.

Permits part-time and volunteer firefighters in municipalities under 25,000 population to serve as firefighters, excluding full-time firefighters, fire chiefs, and union negotiators.

Authorizes governing bodies of municipalities under 25,000 population to allow public servants to perform additional compensated or uncompensated services without conflict of interest limitations.

Allows state public servants to purchase tax-delinquent lands at tax sales unless prohibited by civil service commission rules or their employing department.

Permits intermediate school district superintendents to simultaneously serve as superintendents of constituent local school districts without conflict of interest restrictions.
