Amends the 1981 Motor Vehicle Franchise Act (PA 118) to revise definitions in sections 2, 3, and 4 governing manufacturers, distributors, and dealers.

Defines "coerce" to mean compelling or attempting to compel action through pressure, intimidation, or threats of harm, excluding good faith recommendations, notices of violations, and conduct permitted under the act.

Expands "dealer agreement" to include all written contracts between manufacturers/distributors/importers and dealers that establish legal rights and obligations, encompassing sales and service agreements plus all attachments and incorporated documents.

Defines "designated family member" to include spouses, children, grandchildren, parents, siblings, court-appointed representatives, or persons designated in writing to succeed a deceased or incapacitated dealer.

Act becomes effective only if Senate Bills 1308 and 1309 and House Bill 6100 are also enacted into law; effective date is August 4, 2010.
