County boards of commissioners must produce a report of proceedings after each session and choose one of three publication methods: publish the full report in a newspaper, publish a synopsis in a newspaper with notice that the full report is available from the county clerk, or make the report available at the county clerk's office for public inspection.

Counties may make board proceedings reports available electronically by emailing copies upon request without charge and posting copies on the county website if available.

Counties must make a receipts and expenditures report available immediately after each session, detailing claimant names, amounts claimed and allowed, and treasurer account information, available for public inspection at the county clerk's office.

The county clerk must send copies of the receipts and expenditures report to news media.

County boards may publish an annual pamphlet report combining the proceedings and financial reports, with taxpayers able to obtain copies free from the county clerk.
