Amends the 1927 firearm licensing and regulation act to modify procedures for disposing of forfeited firearms by adding section 14a.

Allows local law enforcement agencies to conduct public auctions to sell seized or confiscated firearms directly, rather than forwarding them to the state police director for disposal.

Requires firearms sold at auction be purchased only by individuals legally authorized to possess them, conducted in compliance with MCL 600.4708.

Permits law enforcement agencies to keep auction proceeds exclusively for law enforcement purposes.

Maintains existing state police authority to dispose of firearms through public auction, destruction, or other lawful methods under section 14, with required 30-day notice periods to previous owners and public notice on the state police website.
