Declares September 2010 as Auxiliary Police Officers Month in Michigan to recognize volunteer police officers and their contributions to public safety.

Honors Lt. Dan Kromer of the Taylor Auxiliary Police who was killed in the line of duty on September 7, 2010, and acknowledges at least 26 police volunteers killed nationally since November 2001.

Recognizes Michigan's active auxiliary police forces, including Taylor Police Department's 45 volunteer officers donating over 14,000 hours and Oakland County Sheriff's Reserve with 100 officers donating more than 20,000 hours.

Directs transmission of a copy of the resolution to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office, City of Taylor Police Department, and to Mrs. Shannon Edwards and Mrs. Joyce Kromer.
