House Resolution 353 honors Representative Ed Clemente upon the conclusion of his service in the Michigan House of Representatives after six years.

Clemente represented the Fourteenth Representative District and was first elected in 2004, serving three terms.

Served as chair of the House New Economy and Quality of Life Committee and as member of committees on Banking and Financial Services, Commerce, and Energy and Technology.

Contributed to Michigan policy in business tax policy, economic and industrial development, and regulatory environment through legislative enactments.

Prior to his legislative service, Clemente worked as an entrepreneur, teacher, county commissioner, and business leader.
