Honors Representative Kim Meltzer upon the conclusion of her service in the Michigan House of Representatives for her dedication to addressing state issues.

Recognizes Meltzer's education from Wayne State University and continued studies at Michigan State University, along with her background as a small-business owner and volunteer in local schools and civic organizations.

Credits her experience on the Clinton Township Board and in grassroots political campaigns, as well as her work in the auto supply network, which informed her participation on Tax Policy, Urban Policy, and Commerce Committees.

Notes Meltzer served as minority vice chair of both the Tax Policy and Ethics and Elections Committees during her tenure in the legislature, first elected in 2006 and reelected in 2008.
