Honors Dan Scripps for his dedicated service to Michigan during the Ninety-fifth Legislature, representing Leelanau, Benzie, Manistee, and Mason Counties.

Recognizes Scripps' educational background as a graduate of Alma College and University of Michigan Law School, and his involvement in children's, conservation, economic development, and legal organizations.

Acknowledges his election to the Michigan House of Representatives in 2008 for the One-hundred and first House District and his chairmanship of the Banking and Financial Services Committee.

Credits Scripps with championing the Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Revolving Loan Fund and serving on the Energy and Technology, Ethics and Elections, Great Lakes and Environment, and Public Health Care Reform Committees.
