Requires health care corporation group and nongroup certificates to cover screening, diagnosis, and treatment of autism spectrum disorder, including speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, psychological services, psychiatric services, and applied behavior analysis as prescribed by a treating physician or psychologist.

Prohibits limiting or denying autism spectrum disorder treatment on the basis that it is habilitative in nature and prohibits imposing visit limits on such treatment.

Restricts health care corporations to requesting treatment reviews no more than once every 6 months unless the corporation and treating physician or psychologist agree more frequent reviews are necessary, with the corporation bearing the review costs.

Defines "autism spectrum disorder" as pervasive developmental disorders under the most recent Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM), including autistic disorder, Asperger's disorder, and pervasive developmental disorder not otherwise specified.

Defines "applied behavior analysis" as design, implementation, and evaluation of environmental modifications using behavioral stimuli and consequences to produce socially significant behavioral improvements through direct observation, measurement, and functional analysis.
