Annual park permit for resident motor vehicles costs $24.00, with reduced fees of $6.00 for seniors 65 and older and $18.00 for food stamp cardholders (effective before April 1, 2010).

Daily park permit fees are $6.00 for resident motor vehicles and $8.00 for nonresident motor vehicles (effective before April 1, 2010).

Nonresident annual park permit costs $29.00, and commercial motor coaches or vans with over 12 passenger capacity pay $15.00 for daily entry (effective before April 1, 2010).

Recreational vehicle owners camping in state parks may obtain a duplicate permit for a towed second vehicle for $6.00 for the duration of their camping stay.

Department must provide annual reports to legislative committees detailing revenue generated from permit fees and impact on the Michigan state parks endowment fund.
