Changes language from "between sexes" to "between individuals of different genders" to modernize existing equal pay protections.

Removes outdated provisions restricting female workers from tasks deemed disproportionate to their strength or employment in places deemed detrimental to morals or motherhood.

Establishes misdemeanor penalties of up to 90 days imprisonment and fines ranging from $500 (1-15 employees) to $2,000 (50+ employees) for violations.

Clarifies that wage differences based on factors other than gender do not violate the section, and violations may result in additional criminal charges.
