Amends the Construction Lien Act (1980 PA 497, MCL 570.1106) to revise the definition of "residential structure"

Defines "residential structure" as a condominium unit or residential building with not more than 2 units, including land and appurtenances, where both conditions apply: (a) the owner or lessee resides or will reside in the unit or building, and (b) there is an enforceable agreement for purchase or improvement between the owner/lessee and contractor

Provides definitions for "person," "project," "qualifying officer," "subcontractor," "supplier," and "wages" under the Construction Lien Act

Requires that residential structure protections apply only when the contracting owner/lessee intends to occupy the property and has a valid contractual arrangement with the contractor
