Permits pupils to fulfill the algebra II requirement through department-approved formal career and technical education programs with embedded mathematics content, such as electronics, machining, construction, welding, engineering, or renewable energy.

Requires the department to post implementation guidelines on its website and submit them to the senate and house standing committees on education within 30 days of the amendment's effective date.

Maintains the requirement that all pupils must successfully complete at least 1 mathematics course during their final year of high school enrollment.
