Allows school district election coordinators to cancel school district elections before the election date if only one candidate files for each office, no ballot questions exist, and the write-in candidate filing deadline has passed.

Allows county, city, township, and village clerks to cancel elections before the election date if only one candidate (or the exact number needed for nonpartisan elections) files for each office, no ballot questions exist, and the write-in candidate filing deadline has passed.

When an election is canceled under these provisions, the candidate on the ballot for each office is automatically considered elected to that office without the election taking place, and the appropriate board of canvassers must certify the cancellation and election.

Requires election officials to provide reasonable notice to electors when canceling an election under these provisions.

Excludes school district elections from the county, city, township, and village clerk cancellation provisions in Section 646e.
