Establishes 7 supreme court districts in Michigan, with each district electing 1 justice to the Michigan Supreme Court.

Requires candidates for supreme court justice to be registered electors of the supreme court district they seek to represent, licensed to practice law in Michigan, and under 70 years of age at the time of election or appointment.

Imposes a 20-year eligibility ban for anyone convicted of violating section 12a(1) of 1941 PA 370 from being elected or appointed as a supreme court justice.

Mandates the legislature review federal decennial census data by January 1, 2012 and every 10 years thereafter to adjust supreme court district boundaries, maintaining population sizes within 95% to 105% of the ideal district population.

Specifies that supreme court justice terms are 8 years beginning January 1 immediately following election, with justices continuing in office until a successor is elected and qualified.
