Creates a 7-member Michigan Snowmobile Advisory Committee within the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, with members appointed by the director for 2-year terms.

Committee membership consists of 3 representatives from the Michigan Snowmobile Association (1 from each department region, with 1 having snowmobile safety instructor experience), 1 trail sponsor representative, 1 business community representative, and 2 at-large trail users.

Committee shall meet at least twice yearly and at the call of the chairperson as needed, with the director appointing the chairperson.

Committee advises the department on snowmobile safety education and training programs, allocation of recreational snowmobile trail improvement funds, snowmobile-related rules, statewide trails system planning, and designation of trails for snowmobile use.

Removes outdated language regarding members of a former snowmobile advisory board serving as of April 29, 1994.
