Allows a putative father involved in adoption proceedings to request that the friend of the court open an account to collect child support payments from him.

Putative father must provide the friend of the court with the adoption case details (court name, judge, case number), child's name, and names and addresses of the mother, prospective adoptive parents, and any person with custody of the child.

Friend of the court must notify the mother and prospective adoptive parents that the account has been opened and inform them that the mother or custodian can withdraw funds after service fees are paid.

Friend of the court collects a service fee from the account equal to the standard support order fee under MCL 600.2538, paid at the same intervals as regular support order fees.

Service fees collected are deposited in the county general fund and distributed the same way as other support order fees under MCL 600.2538.
