Allows city councils that hold regular elections in May to change their election date to the odd year general election by adopting a compliant resolution.

Allows city councils with annual or even-year November elections to change their regular election schedule to the odd year general election and odd year primary election by adopting a compliant resolution.

Allows city councils with September primary elections to change their regular election primary to the odd year primary election by adopting a compliant resolution.

Allows school district boards currently holding elections at the odd year general election to change their regular election to the general November election (in both even and odd years) by adopting a compliant resolution, effective after December 31, 2009.

Allows village councils with September primary election dates to change their regular election to the November regular election date by adopting a compliant resolution.
