Establishes the "Michigan Health Care Freedom Act" prohibiting government from requiring any person to obtain or maintain health insurance coverage.

Grants individuals the right to provide for their own health care and prohibits government actions from compelling participation in any health care system, either directly or indirectly.

Prohibits penalties or fines against persons, employers, or health care providers for paying directly for lawful health care services or accepting direct payment for such services.

Protects health care systems from penalties or disadvantages for permitting direct payment for lawful health care services without involving third-party payers.

Exempts workers' compensation, automobile no-fault insurance, and government actions in effect as of January 1, 2010 from the act's restrictions.
