Landowners or authorized representatives may request written preapplication meetings with the Department of Environmental Quality to review proposed projects or permit applications at the district office or project site.

District office preapplication meetings cost $150.00, while project site meetings cost $250.00 for the first acre plus $50.00 per additional acre, capped at $1,000.00 maximum fee.

Single family residential lots under 1 acre have no fee for district office meetings and $100.00 for project site meetings; cranberry production activities are exempt from all preapplication meeting fees until October 1, 2012.

Department agreements regarding permit requirements resulting from preapplication meetings are binding on the department for 2 years from the agreement date.

The preapplication meeting provisions expire and are repealed effective October 1, 2015.
