Allows correctional industries products to be sold to private businesses and individuals if the products are cut and sewn textiles and no comparable product is manufactured in Michigan.

Permits sale of prefabricated housing suitable for seasonal farmworkers to farm owners and operators in Michigan who employ seasonal farmworkers.

Allows agricultural products produced on correctional farms to be used within correctional institutions, sold to approved entities, or distributed without charge to nonprofit charitable organizations and the Family Independence Agency for food banks and charitable food distribution programs.

Permits inmate labor to be used in manufacturing products or rendering services in private enterprises if more than 80% of that product sold in the United States is manufactured outside the United States and none is manufactured in Michigan, as determined by the Department of Corrections with the advisory council for correctional industries.
