Department of corrections shall assist prisoners with obtaining identification documents before release on parole or discharge, including documents needed for operator's licenses, state personal identification cards, and social security verification.

Prisoner refusal to obtain identification documents may be included in parole eligibility reports and considered during parole determinations.

Department must provide written information to all prisoners about required identification documents, with expedited notification for those within one year of parole eligibility.

Secretary of state granted electronic access to prisoner information for verifying identity of applicants for driver licenses and state personal identification cards.

Reentry success fund created within state treasury to fund expenses of prisoner identification document assistance activities; effective date conditioned on passage of House Bills 4075, 4076, and 4077.
