Requires commercial snow removal vehicles to operate with at least one flashing, rotating, or oscillating yellow or amber light visible in a 360-degree arc from 500 feet when removing snow or ice on public streets, highways, or public parking lots.

Prohibits owners or lessees of commercial snow removal vehicles from knowingly allowing operation of such vehicles without the required warning light.

Establishes penalties for violations as a misdemeanor punishable by imprisonment up to 90 days or a fine up to $500, or both.

Defines "commercial snow removal vehicle" as any vehicle equipped with a plow or other snow/ice removal device used for payment or remuneration.

Effective date: July 2, 2012.
