MI HB4505

Amends the Privately Owned Cervidae Producers Marketing Act to clarify that cervidae livestock facility registration does not exempt operators from other applicable local, state, or federal laws and regulations.

Allows a cervidae livestock facility to operate simultaneously as a sporting swine livestock operation if the owner meets requirements under both this act and the sporting swine marketing act.

Exempts cervidae livestock facilities that are also registered as sporting swine operations and have paid all applicable sporting swine fees from paying duplicate fees under the cervidae act.

Requires registered operators to maintain records of production, purchases, and imports to establish proof of ownership, and requires transporters to carry documentation including origin of shipment, registration copies, and destination information upon request.

Incorporates by reference the "Operational Standards for Registered Privately Owned Cervidae Facilities" published by the department of natural resources (revised December 2005) as mandatory compliance standards.

Bill does not take effect unless House Bills 4503, 4504, 4506, and 4699 are all enacted into law.
