Prohibits posting, displaying, or distributing materials in polling places or within 100 feet of polling place entrances on election day that reference elections, candidates, or ballot questions, except for legally required official materials.

Adds new restrictions preventing the name of any elected or appointed official of the state or political subdivisions from appearing on any material temporarily posted, displayed, or distributed in polling places on election day.

Establishes penalties of up to $100 fine for first offense and up to $250 fine for second or subsequent offense for violations of the new official name restriction.

Maintains existing prohibitions on campaign persuasion, sticker distribution, and solicitation of donations or signatures within polling areas.

Effective immediately upon Governor's approval on June 5, 2012.
