Allows affidavits to be recorded in the register of deeds office to correct errors, omissions relating to proper recording place, and scrivener's errors in previously recorded documents.

Requires affidavits be made by persons with knowledge of relevant facts who are competent to testify in court and meet requirements of section 1c.

Specifies affidavits do not alter substantive rights of any party unless executed by that party.

Requires county register of deeds to index all names mentioned in recorded correction affidavits.

Permits recording of corrected versions of previously recorded documents that reference the original document by liber and page number or unique identifying number.
