Amends the definition of "wage earning capacity" in the Worker's Disability Compensation Act of 1969 to include additional categories of public employees.

Expands the list of covered employees to include state correctional officers as defined in the Correctional Officers' Training Act of 1982 and county sheriff employees working in local correctional facilities as corrections officers.

Includes employees of authorities, districts, boards, or other entities created by cities, counties, villages, or townships who work as police officers or firefighters.

Requires injured employees to affirmatively seek reasonably available work considering their work-related limitations, with magistrates authorized to evaluate good-faith job search efforts in determining whether jobs are reasonably available.
