Requires public school governing bodies to ensure an automated external defibrillator (AED) is present at each school and readily accessible to staff, pupils, volunteers, and guests.

Mandates that at least one individual trained in basic first aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and AED use be present whenever pupils are at the school.

Requires training to be completed through the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or an equivalent organization approved by the school's governing body.

Requirements become effective one year after the bill's enactment date.
