Increases juror mileage reimbursement rate from 10 cents per mile to 22 cents per mile for travel from residence to courthouse and back for each day or half-day of actual attendance.

Establishes juror daily compensation rates: $25.00 per day or $12.50 per half-day for first day of attendance, and $40.00 per day or $20.00 per half-day for each subsequent day of attendance.

Removes prior compensation schedule that had been effective since October 1, 2003 ($15.00 per day and $7.50 per half-day).

Specifies that when an action is removed from circuit court to a lower court, the circuit court receives the jury fee and remains responsible for paying juror compensation.

Makes fraudulent issuance of juror attendance certificates by court clerks or deputy clerks a misdemeanor punishable by up to 6 months imprisonment, a fine up to $500, or both.
