Allows local funding units of judicial districts with state police posts to enter into agreements with the Department of State Police to designate their district as the venue for cases arising from citations issued by state police officers assigned to that post.

Agreements require approval by the state court administrator and are effective on dates agreed upon by both parties; may be modified or canceled by either party with 180 days' prior notice to the other party and state court administrator.

Without such an agreement in effect, venue for state police citations follows standard rules based on district class (county for first class, district for second class, political subdivision for third class).

Makes minor grammatical and stylistic changes to existing venue provisions, including replacing "which" with "that" and clarifying district classifications.

Applies specifically to citations for violations of the Michigan Vehicle Code (1949 PA 300, MCL 257.1 to 257.923) issued by Department of State Police.
