Third degree arson penalties: imprisonment up to 10 years or fine up to $20,000 or 3 times property value (whichever greater) for willfully burning buildings/structures or personal property valued at $20,000+ or $1,000+ with prior convictions

Fourth degree arson penalties: imprisonment up to 5 years or fine up to $10,000 or 3 times property value (whichever greater) for willfully burning personal property valued at $1,000-$20,000 or $200+ with prior convictions, or for negligently setting forest fires

Arson of insured property with intent to defraud: life imprisonment or up to 20 years for dwellings/buildings, or up to 10 years for personal property, plus fines up to $20,000 or 3 times property value

All arson provisions apply regardless of property ownership
